Review TOSHIBA 32C3030DB
This
is a nice TV for the price. As you can see it looks cool. The pedestal
looks quite neat up close and makes it look quite elegant compared to
others in its class.
This is not for the home cinema enthusiast. It is not very big for one
but the picture quality is superb so it would make a great addition to
any family living room. Here are the details.
1366x768 pixel resolution, 4000:1 contrast ratio and 500 cd/m2
brightness rating is what gives it a super sharp picture. If your
thinking about buying this TV go and have a look at it because other
TVs with a similar specification do not look as good. Having just said
how nice the picture is it does NOT support 1080HD so is not perfect
for the latest HD DVD players but it will be still quite exceptional to
view.
The Built in sound uses standard quality Nicam stereo with 20 watt RMS
stereo speakers. This I think is easily good enough for regular TV use
and as we have already established it is not for the home cinema buff
so unless you are a mega music fan or something the built in quality is
acceptable. If you need better choose a different TV as this has no
facility to attach a seperate sound system.
The dimensions are 54.5x80.0x11.6(H/W/D)cm. And its other features
include:- auto setup, built in digital freeview, teletext, 7 day
programme guide, the ability to be used with a pc, a sleep timer and
fast text.
I would say this is a good choice if it is the right size for you and
you are after a much better picture than you would normally get without
jumping significantly in price.
